Last week we took a brief look at Hollywood timepieces as worn by male actors. So today we’re going to take a look at what the ladies of Tinseltown are wearing on their wrists – and they are no less stunning (both the watches and the actresses, of course).
The super-sublime Colombian actress Sophie Vergara currently stars in ABC’s wicked-smart sit-com Modern Family. But she has a whole host of film credits under her (probably designer-made) belt, including Four Brothers, Machete Kills, and The Smurfs – although we shouldn’t judge her for that last one. We all have bills to pay, after all. Red carpet dresses don’t buy themselves. Vergara seriously shines with her choice of watch though. She’s been spotted sporting the luscious Rolex , although the Ballon Bleu de Cartier has also made a welcome cameo on her wrist.
If you could choose any of the Friends cast to actually hang out with, who would you pick? We’d probably plump for Jennifer Aniston, if only because of her excellent choice in timepieces. Aniston is a Rolex-lady, which always shows a hint of class. Her collection includes the Rolex Datejust, and most regularly, the Rolex Presidential, which definitely gets our vote.
Angelina Jolie frequently tops lists for the world’s sexiest woman – pretty incredible when there’s about 3 billion women who didn’t feature on the list (we’re not sure they were even looked at). But those lists always overlook her acting skills, charitable work, and her absolute style. We’ve already seen how Jolie’s husband, Brad Pitt, is a major watch aficionado, so we’re guessing he’s been a major influence on Angelina’s watch-buying. Not only does she count Cartiers and the Chanel Premiere Ladies among her prized timepieces, but she also owns the classically elegant Patek Philippe Minute Repeater – a brand seriously favoured by Brad too.
